Andrea McNiel PA-C.

 

Andrea McNiel, M.S., PA-C, is a Physician Assistant (PA-C) with Texas Heart and Vein. She has over 14
years of experience in Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery. She has a special interest in venous disease
and provides day to day oversite and patient care in our vein clinics. She performs vein procedures and
ablations, phlebectomies, and sclerotherapy treatments. She sees and manages patients in the clinic, in
the hospital, and assists in surgery. She works closely with the surgeons to provide a collaborative
approach to the management and treatment of patients with cardiac, vascular, thoracic, and venous
diseases.
Andrea completed a Master’s of Science in Physician Assistant studies from Baylor College of Medicine
in 2004. She received her Bachelor’s of Science degree from Boise State University in 2002. She also
served on the Board of Directors for the Association of Physician Assistants in Cardiovascular Surgery
(APACVS) where she focused on cardiac and thoracic surgical education and training for Physician
Assistants. Andrea is married and has 3 children. On her days off she can frequently be found at the
soccer or baseball fields cheering on her children’s teams, enjoying movies with her family, running, or
scrapbooking.
